Read your composition aloud; hearing your written work may help you to find a grammatical error when something that you read sounds wrong. Read your composition in reverse order, beginning at the last sentence. Read each sentence carefully.  Your brain anticipates what you expect to see, not what you actually wrote. Reading aloud allows you to hear and see errors you might have missed such as sentence fragments or run-on sentences.
