The Food Resource Center partners with faith-based and social service organizations in Montgomery County to help feed the hungry. There are 26 food cupboards, 7 soup kitchens and 3 shelters in our network. CADCOM directs the distribution of government food to each site and works with each site to ensure they meet state and federal regulations. We also will help with food donations. Please note: we do not distribute emergency food. We will refer you to a site.

Cornucopia Cupboard distributes food to qualifying individuals and families at the Sweet Repeats Family Thrift Shop in North Wales, PA. It is open on 2nd and 4th Monday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., year-round.

We are multi-lingual, and offer Spanish, Italian, French, Berber, Aramaic, and Arabic interpretation services.

How to Qualify

To learn if you qualify to receive food from Cornucopia Cupboard, download and fill out the intake form or pick one up at the Sweet Repeats Family Thrift Shop during normal business hours (Monday to Friday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Saturday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.). The form is also available in Spanish. Your form will be processed confidentially through the Montgomery County Community Action Development Commission (CADCOM). Applicants must meet federal guidelines in order to receive food.

First-time qualifying applicants will each receive a $5 coupon for Sweet Repeats Family Thrift Shop.

Open Link's Community Food Cupboard

The Open Link's Community Food Cupboard, Pennsburg, is designed to provide food to local families who do not currently have the financial means to meet their nutritional needs. There are two types of assistance through the food cupboard: emergency food provided through community food donations and the government food program. Eligibility varies by program. Beginning July 1 of each year, families requesting food must meet with a counselor to complete an initial intake. Following the initial visit, The Open Line requests that families call 24-hours in advance to set-up their next appointment for food pick-up. Families may access the cupboard once a month. In case of emergency or if there is a change in circumstance, families should contact the office and speak to a counselor directly.

Established in 1971, the Cluster Outreach Center serves the needy of the Greater Pottstown Area through job placement assistance, one-on-one life skills counseling, emergency services consisting of a food cupboard, soup kitchen, clothing, and household items and furniture. Daily Lunch Program

Saint Peter’s hosts a daily lunch program, Monday through Friday, 11:30 AM – 1:00 PM in our kitchen and Smith Fellowship Room. The Phoenixville Ecumenical Lunch Program consists of several churches and groups who individually prepare hot lunches for approximately 50 individuals who would otherwise not have nourishment. All meals are provided at no cost to our guests and all are welcome. No registration required.

The Food Pantry

St. Peter’s Food Pantry is a ministry to serve God by serving others by providing fresh and nutritious food at no cost to those experiencing food insecurity in the Greater Phoenixville area. We offer a caring atmosphere and treat each person with dignity and respect.

We provide a self-service shopping experience which includes non-perishable foods, bread, fresh dairy, fresh fruits and vegetables. Pantries are held every other Saturday with a hot breakfast 8:30 AM, pantry @ 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM. Those who cannot come on Saturday may attend the following Monday with a hot dinner 5:00 PM, pantry @ 6:00 – 7:00 PM. Free health screening is provided on Saturdays by Phoenixville Hospital nurses.

Guests who are income eligible according to federal guidelines may register on their first visit for the pantry. You do not have to be a U.S. citizen to attend the pantry or meals and there are no income requirements for the meals.
